Auditions!
All auditioners who meet the eligibility requirements for any role shall be afforded equal opportunity to be considered for that role. Persons interested in a role for which they do not meet all eligibility requirements may be allowed to audition for that role at the discretion of the Director. We are a non-equity house and all performers are volunteer.
Because we perform and rehearse above a bar, we do require everyone who auditions for us be 18 years or older. We may accept auditions from younger if there is a parent or guardian who will be present at all rehearsals and performances.

Everyone who has placed a reservation for their audition will be seen.
We also, accept walk-in auditions as time permits.
Video submissions will also be considered. Please email theroomupstairstheatre@gmail.com for more information on video auditions.
Please use the link below to reserve a slot for in person auditions.
All auditionees are asked to prepare:
60-90 seconds of song from your repertoire in the style of the show
You are also welcome to additionally sing a song from the show if you would like, however, it is not required for casting
Versions of the songs are available on Youtube/Spotify for reference.
Please bring an mp3 or your PHONE with a 60-90 second cut of your audition tracks on it. You may not be asked to sing the entire audition piece.

Videos submissions need to be received prior to 7:00pm on Tuesday, February 24th.

Ricky Potts - Male - Tenor (A2 – A4)
Jane Doe - Female - Soprano (C4 – E5)
Karnak - Male - Non singing role
Ensemble - may be used for supporting roles in the show as well as understudies
